Are you feeling a bit overwhelmed with your personal or business finances?
Do you feel like you just can’t seem to save money, even though you’re trying every month?
Is there a dream you want to realise, but you can’t save up for it? A car you want to buy, a trip you want to take, or something else you’ve been putting off?
Then you’re in the right place!

I know financial organization can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to help you with that. A few years ago, I was frustrated because I was never able to save enough money to realise my wishes and dreams. Every month I made a plan that included putting money aside, yet at the end of the month, it was all gone.
“What happened?” I kept asking myself. It should have been enough. Whether it was unexpected expenses or just small everyday spending, somehow something always came up that prevented me from saving. I was honestly tired of it. That’s when I decided to create an Excel sheet to track all my income and expenses.
At first, I thought: “If my rent were cheaper or if I earned more money, I’d be able to save.” I was convinced… and completely wrong. After tracking my finances for just one month, the result surprised me: It wasn’t high rent or low income that kept me from saving. It was poor planning. I had seriously underestimated how much I was spending on groceries and my free time, for example. But the good thing was: Tracking gave me clarity. Each month taught me more about my habits and what to watch out for. It gave me valuable insights that helped me adjust my plan and finally start saving. In less than three months, I took control of my finances.

I kept improving my system over time, constantly adjusting it to my needs and lifestyle changes. I’ve now been using my planner for over four years. When I moved to Spain and joined the digital nomad community, I met freelancers and self-employed people who struggled with the exact same challenges. That surprised me. I always thought financial struggles were mainly a personal issue, not a business one. When I showed them my planner, they immediately wanted it too. But by then, my system had become quite complex, because I like to track everything in detail. That’s why I created three different templates – so there’s one for every personality:
- People who like to keep things simple
- People who prefer a bit more detail
- And control freaks like me 😉
My intention is to genuinely help you. That’s why I provide my templates for FREE. You can download the English versions here. For other languages, click the “Other Languages” button.
IMPORTANT: You don’t need Excel installed. You can use Excel Online for free or upload the files to Google Drive and open them with Google Sheets if you prefer to work with Google.
The first sheet already includes explanations. However, some people prefer more detailed guidance. That’s why I also created a video course. The goal of the course is not only to explain how to use each template, but also to give you practical tips and insights on how to actually save money.
Many online courses are overwhelming – either because they take hours to complete or because they include complicated and often unnecessary explanations. My goal was different. I wanted to keep things simple. I want to help you organise your finances in the easiest and most realistic way possible. The course includes six modules, each with four to six short videos. There’s also an optional bonus module at the end. The entire course is only 33 minutes long – or just 21 minutes without the bonus module. So in just 20 minutes, you can take control of your finances!
The course is in English, but you can watch it with subtitles in German, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
Now you might be wondering: What do I actually know about finances? And you’re absolutely right to ask that question. As mentioned, everything started with managing my own finances. But I also built knowledge through both education and experience:
- From 2009 to 2012, I completed an apprenticeship in retail, including vocational school where I learned bookkeeping and basic financial management. I received my certification in 2012.
- From 2020 to 2022, I studied Retail Management (MSc), which included accounting, financial management, and topics such as finance and investment in a business context.
- In January 2026, I enrolled in a payroll course, which I will complete in June, followed by the final exam in July.
So in addition to my personal experience and passion for organisation, I also have an academic background in finance-related topics. That being said: This course is for educational purposes only and does not replace professional financial or tax advice!

If you’re looking for something more personalised and don’t want to take the course, that’s completely fine. I also offer a 1:1 coaching package. It includes:
- Getting to know each other and understanding your needs (First session)
- Me creating a tailored template for your individual situation
- Presentation + personalised guidance (Second session)
- Follow-up session (Third session)

You don’t need a perfect system. You need a system that works for you. You can start simple. You can adjust along the way. But the most important step is to start!
