What’s been going on during my break

So. After six months break on Instagram, I finally found the time, energy, and motivation to come back again. It’s weird how demanding social media can be even if you’re a “Nobody.” With the goals I had, I really wanted to please the Instagram algorithm, but that was exhausting for me. So I decided not to care about the algorithm anymore and just do what feels right to me and make sure my plate is not too full.
Although I still have a lot on my plate, I feel like it’s more balanced now. In these six months, so many things happened, and it feels like the older I get, the more things happen in a short amount of time.
I started a new job in October but soon had to find out that money is tight at that company and I didn’t get paid. Today I’m still missing three months’ salary. After asking my boss for the money, she fired me (lol), and I had to find a new job, which was hard because I only wanted to work from home. But I’m so happy that I found one and I absolutely love it. Luckily, we have a union in Austria that now sorts the money stuff out with my old boss. Though it could take a few months because court takes some time, I know I’ll get it sooner or later, which is a relief because it was worrysome living of my savings.
Additionally, I resigned from my second job to focus more on my private projects like KarosBlogspot. I also am a football coach, and most of the games are on Saturdays, which often meant that I couldn’t make it while I still had my old job.
And in January, I started taking music lessons, so my plate’s already quite full again, but I feel like it’s more with things that I want to do and with things I’m doing for someone else. Football fulfils me, music fulfils me, and the new job is in a field I really like.
So I think things have worked out for me after the tough year I had in 2022. I also adjusted my training plan a little, and so far, I’m able to stick to it most of the time, which I’m really proud of.
I feel like the beginning of the year was still a little bit of an adjustment, but now I have found my way, and I’m very excited about the rest of 2023.
