Howart Live Festival Day Two

We were starting very excited into the second day of the festival knowing that this day would be more dedicated to international style of music.
Before heading to the festival we went to a lake to chill out a bit and regenerate. Then we headed back home to dress for the festival and decided to wear the same outfits like the day before because we really liked them and also want to normalise that. Who says you have to wear a different outfit for every occasion? Let’s think more sustainable and about our planet.

When we arrived at the festival there were less people than the previous day but we expected that because the headliner was not well known to people by name. The first support act was a small band named “Tobacco Road Blues Band” and had a bit Country/Blues style of music. They were good but this style of music wasn’t really our thing so we went for some food and chilled out a bit. Then it was time for the next support act, a band named “Blowing Doozy” because they played wind instruments. We were excited for them because we checked their music beforehand and really liked it. And they did not disappoint us. Their live performance was absolutely great. More and more people were coming and the band was very engaging with the crowd. One of the artists even came down from the stage and danced in the middle of the crowd for a bit. The crowd loved it.

After Blowing Doozy the last support act started his performance, a young singer named “Krystof”. I heard that it was his first live performance and he did a great job. I did not notice any nervousity and he was also engaging well with the crowd. It looked like he had a lot of fun performing and his fans in the first row were in love. After his performance they tried to get backstage to talk to him but I didn’t follow if they got through. I think some of them did.

The stage’s set up got changed and about 30min later it was time for the main act “Parov Stelar”. Their music was one of the best things I’ve ever heard. The crowd totally lost it and there was no one standing still. Parov Stelar is absolutely underrated, they have a very unique electronic jazz, house and pop mixed style of music. It was the perfect ending for the festival and their music was so good that I checked their website to see where else they would perform in the future. They will play at a festival on my birthday in August so I might get tickets for that 🙂
Overall this was a great weekend, I had a blast and hopefully I will be able to make it next year!
